What are the advantages of a chest protector?
A chest protector has been specially developed to protect your most vital parts in the event of an impact on your chest. Chest protectors are available as inserts for your motorcycle jacket, but also as loose breast plates that you can place in your motorcycle overall. These chest protectors are approved according to the CE level 1 standard. Most breastplates have a strap that allows you to tighten the breastplate on your chest.

Chest protectors are made of polycarbonate and fitted with cushioning material for optimal shock absorption. Chest protectors can be quite warm, for this reason you see a lot of ventilation holes and cooling materials that wick away your perspiration. All Alpinestars motorcycle jackets can be fitted with matching Alpinestars chest protector inserts, called the bionic chest pad insert.
