What are the advantages of a chest protector?
A chest protector has been specially developed to protect your most vital parts in the event of an impact on your chest. Chest protectors are available as inserts for your motorcycle jacket, but also as loose breastplates that you can place in your motorcycle overall. These chest protectors are approved according to the CE level 1 standard. Most breastplates are equipped with a strap with which you can tightly fix the breastplate on your chest.

Chest protectors are made of polycarbonate and fitted with cushioning material for optimal shock absorption. Chest protectors can be quite warm, for this reason you will see a lot of ventilation holes and cooling materials that wick away your perspiration. All Alpinestars motorcycle jackets can be fitted with matching Alpinestars chest protector inserts, called bionic chest pad insert.
