What should you pay attention to when buying a motorcycle cover?
As an engine owner it is one of your biggest nightmares: rust and corrosion on your engine. A motorcycle cover protects your valuable two-wheeler against these miserable phenomena and significantly reduces the risk of theft and damage. Unfortunately, not everyone has a garage and you are therefore sometimes forced to leave your motorcycle in the rain. Motorcycle covers offer the solution for this and protect your motorcycle against: hail, rain, dust and wind. Even if you have a garage, a motorcycle cover can come in handy. An inner motorcycle cover protects your motorcycle against dust, dirt and damage.
The biggest difference between an inner motorcycle cover and an outer motorcycle cover is the water resistance. You probably guessed it already: the outer motorcycle cover is waterproof and the inner motorcycle cover is not. The advantage of a non-waterproof motorcycle cover is that it is more breathable, so moisture that is on the motorcycle can leave the cover better. And yes, the disadvantage: rain just comes through, so it is of little use for outdoor use.
A motorcycle cover for outside is waterproof and protects your motorcycle against the elements. A quality motorcycle cover also has a breathability so that moisture that is on the inside can leave the motorcycle cover. The breathability of a waterproof motorcycle cover is lower than a non-waterproof motorcycle cover.
