Helmet visor

Dark or clear visors
New motorcycle helmets are always supplied with a blank visor. These visors have an anti-scratch coating and anti-fog coating or pinlock visor against fogging. By using the motorcycle helmet, the visor will eventually scratch and the anti-fog coating can lose its strength. Make sure to replace your visor in time so that you always have the best view of your motorcycle.

Many motorcycle helmets nowadays have an integrated sun visor. With racing helmets and sports helmets it is important to keep the weight of the helmet as low as possible, for this reason there is no sun visor. These helmets can be provided with a dark visor, mirror visor or a visor of a different color. The advantage of this is that the visor acts as a sun visor and that it often looks a bit tougher. Keep in mind that with a dark visor you can only see well in daylight.
