Motorcycle jeans

What are the benefits of motorcycle jeans?
Motorcycle jeans have become extremely popular in recent years and are available in more and more styles and models. Most jeans are processed with a layer of Kevlar on the inside of the pants, which ensures that the pants do not chafe during a fall. The Kevlar is processed on the seats, the side seams and the knees. In some cases, the pants are even fully lined or woven with an abrasion-resistant fiber. To find out to what extent the pants are protected, it is best to turn the pants inside out. You can often see how the pants are protected by the color of the fiber.

Kevlar is an aramid complex consisting of a combination of a wear-resistant fiber and a fiber that is heat-resistant. You can also find Kevlar in firefighter clothing, for example. Kevlar owes its abrasion resistance to the way of stitching over each other. In the event of an accident, the loops overlap, forming a wear-resistant layer and therefore not tearing open.

The motorcycle jeans are always prepared for protectors. In some cases these protectors are included in the price. Because the motorcycle jeans look like normal jeans, you can even wear them to work, a meeting or a dinner. No one will notice that you just got off the bike. The motorcycle jeans are ideal for the warmer days.

Maintenance motorcycle jeans
Protection should always be removed before washing. As with all clothing, it is best to wash the jeans separately first to see if they run off. Jeans are best washed separately and inside out. Usually the jeans can be washed in the washing machine on a cold program (30 degrees). See the label in the jeans for the best advice per pants. Hang the jeans out to dry by the waistband, the jeans should not be dried in the dryer.

We sell various maintenance products for the motorcycle jeans in our stores. The jeans can be washed with a textile detergent. To make them water and dirt repellent, the jeans can optionally be impregnated with a textile impregnation spray.
