Tour-X5 Helmet

The Arai Tour-X5 motorcycle helmet is the versatile enduro and multisport helmet of the highest caliber. Developed to cater to adventurers in all terrains, it is configurable by removing the sun peak and the clear visor in 3 different set-ups. The Tour-X5 adventure helmet complies with the stringent ECE 22.06 standard and is constructed according to the safety philosophy of the Japanese manufacturer.

The Tour-X5 is equipped with all the technical features of a serious touring helmet. The large optical class 1 clear visor is easily removable for use with an MX goggle. Additionally, it comes standard with a Pinlock 120 anti-fog lens. The large face opening has enough space for all types of motocross goggles. The sun visor is also quickly detachable for long rides on the highway.

The fiberglass composite PB-CLC2 helmet shell is made as round as possible for optimal glance-off properties to minimize energy transfer in the event of a crash. Underlying is the multi-density EPS liner. In the helmet shell, 6 ventilation openings and a large opening on the chin guard are incorporated, providing twice as much airflow as its predecessor, the Tour-X4. For the first time, Arai has dispensed with the brow vents in the visor.

The helmet interior of the Arai Tour-X5 is made of quick-drying properties and premium materials for an excellent fit. The helmet edge is specially water-repellent for off-road use. The cheek pads feature an emergency Quick release system, and the Tour-X5 is equipped with a double-D chin strap closure.
