U-COM 3 HD Bluetooth Headset

The Interphone U-COM 3 HD Bluetooth headset is among the more affordable models on the market. Suitable as a rider-to-passenger helmet intercom, the U-COM 3 HD has a mutual range of up to 500 metres. Furthermore, it excels in simplicity, starting with the compact communication unit with large buttons for easy operation, even with gloves. This communication set is IP67 waterproof, making it above average in the rain.

Communication capabilities aside, the U-COM 3 HD works with a Bluetooth 5.1 connection. This lets you connect a smartphone or GPS for voice prompts or your favourite playlists. An additional plus point is the addition of 40mm-sized HD speakers. Together with the built-in equaliser, this allows you to enjoy your music on the go.

Pairing with other brands is no problem thanks to the universal intercom function. Moreover, you can speak simultaneously through the intercom and also hear music in the background or spoken instructions from your navigation system or smartphone.

In terms of talk time, the U-COM 3 HD has plenty to offer despite its small size. Battery life is around 10 hours and after 3 hours the battery is fully charged. Charging and software updates can be done through the included USB-C cable. Settings can be changed via the buttons on the unit, or by downloading the app for iOS and Android.
